WINGCON develops and distributes innovative products for mission-critical networks worldwide and offers high-performance solutions for network operators and companies. To strengthen our international team, we are now looking for a Head of IT (m/f/d) Tasks You will lead the small team for our internal IT infrastructure. This is our in-house cloud infrastructure based on Open Stack and Ceph. Various applications run on the predominantly virtualized Linux servers (Ubuntu and Red Hat). Your main tasks Head of IT Administration of the network and virtualization infrastructure as well as firewalls Planning and design of new IT systems including selection and procurement of hardware Administration of the groupware Support for users Maintenance, care and expansion of the infrastructure and its documentation Administration of the cloud PBX and access system Our infrastructure Virtualization environment with approx. 200 instances on Openstack Storage cluster based on Ceph Linux server with Ubuntu and Red Hat OS Various open and closed source applications Individual Windows servers Heterogeneous clients (Linux, Android, Windows) Zimbra as a groupware server External cloud PBX, alarm system incl. access system Your profile Degree in computer science or comparable qualification in the IT sector Several years of professional experience in system administration Sound knowledge of Linux and system administration Knowledge of Windows operating systems desirable You can communicate confidently orally and in writing in English, knowledge of German is an advantage You can work independently, are communicative, helpful and show initiative We offer Performance-related pay Flexible working hours Pleasant working atmosphere Varied work in an international team Attractive location and modern offices Additional social benefits such as company pension scheme, monthly benefits in kind Job Rad and e-charging station If you fit the profile described above, please send us your application by e-mail to ****** .
