Position Information Posting Number: 20234652V Position Title: Help Desk Consultant I Posting Type Student Hours/week: 20 hours per week Eligibility: Work study preferred but open to all students Semester 2024-2025 Academic Year Location St. Mary's Hall Detailed Work Schedule Number of positions: 6 Department: 715-UNIT - Technology Support Services Contact Name: Kimberly Walter Contact Phone/Extension: 94899 Position Summary Information Job Description Summary: *Provide first-level help desk support to provide support for all UNIT -supported systems. *Consult with students, faculty, and staff regarding issues with Villanova technology and systems. *Assist with computer problems and provide diagnosis and resolutions. *Log calls utilizing the TeamDynamix ( TDX ) ticket system. Requirements: Must be a graduate student.Some technical knowledge to support the IT infrastructure.* Excellent written and oral communication skills.* Excellent customer service skills. Additional Information: * Summer, Fall, and Spring position.* UNIT will provide ALL training.
