General Summary of the Job:Provides administrative/processing support to the HR function in areas of HRIS, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and/or Org Development and Training. Implements policies, methods, processes or programs relating to the same HR functional area(s). Advises managers and/or employees accordingly for (an) assigned organization(s)and/or region(s).Receives little instruction on daily work, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.Essential Functions:Supports cyclical processes for specific HR function like Manage workflow to ensure transactions are processed accurately and timelyDevelop operational reporting as neededSuggests new procedures and policies related to assigned HR function Acts as liaison with staff in answering questions, providing alternatives and facilitating decision-makingCompliance with all legal and institutional requirementsProduce HR program-related management reports as needed/requested. Participate in various HR-related special projects as assigned; may be supporting an HR Business Partner in a project.Support exception/appeal process activities related to applicable HR programs and policies.Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues. Address and resolve requests, concerns, and inquiries. Ensure timely development and maintenance of accurate plan and program documentation. Skills and Abilities Required:Works on moderately difficult assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and independently, in a fast-paced changing environment.Finance/business acumen desired.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and strong Excel skills experience a plus (SAP, ADP and/or Workday).
