Description About the PositionWe have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced HSE Manager interested in making a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role will be based in Plasmon Factory in Latina (LT). You'll be working in a high performing team, reporting into the Site Manager, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level.Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders.Purpose of the jobThe HSE Manager is responsible for managing Operational Risk Management (ORM) processes that include Safety and Health, Environment, Business Continuity, Facility Security, Asset Conservation. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with all applicable national and local laws and regulations and Heinz policies/procedures/processes. In addition, this position is involved with the identification and communication of operational risks within the factory and the development of business strategies to mitigate those risks. The HSE Manager will be also responsible for general plant services and related budget.The HSE Manager will be responsible for the following activities:Develop and implement HSEstrategies that align with corporate objectives to reduce/mitigate operational risk;Utilize key metrics to drive performance in HSEat the factory location;Communication of HSEfactory results to all levels within the organization;Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary;Ensure that the site adheres to applicable Heinz policies/procedures, processes and operating principles;Manage and interact with a diverse group of factory and corporate personnel;Develop and manage department HSEfinancial budget;Keep abreast of applicable HSElegislation and practices that impact the factory;Primary liaison to collaborate with Heinz Legal and Communications Department regarding incidents that could jeopardize the integrity of the brands;Participate in the annual HSEconference, quarterly webcasts, regional meetings, etc.;Coordinates and assists with the implementation of continuous improvement principles into HSEelements;Implement Kraft Heinz Management Systems and Best Practices as designed;Provide training to staff and employees to ensure that all recognize their contribution to improved HSEperformance;Facilitate Workers' Compensation process with diligence;Ensure compliance with any HSElegislation;Coordinate and Attend any hearings on HSEmatters;Lead on corporate social responsibility issues and action;Directs and oversees activities related to HSEcontrols, including staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning;Develops and maintains new and current processes and tools to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local HSEregulations and assists the factory with these requirements;Devise and implement the facility's HSEBusiness Plans. Ensure action items are developed and implemented for process improvement;Manage plant facility servicesMeet corporate deadlines and completion targets;Drive optimal HSEperformance results.QualificationsHard SkillsMS Office (in particular Excel, Powerpoint);SAP;Fluent in English;Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and Management Systems (i.e., ISO 14001, Safety Management Systems) preferred;Continuous Improvement Principles and Practices;Knowledge of National/Local Laws/regulations;RSPP (A+B+C course).Professional AttributesProject management skillsTime management has no secrets for you.
