THE ROLE: For our manufacturing site in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) with over 800 employees, we are looking to hire an Hydraulics Engineer - Fluid Dynamics Designer. The Hydraulics Engineer will research, design, and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Define planning and methodologies to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform hydraulic design and simulation in the Product Development area and for the different product lines (new projects and current products optimization). This includes calculations, simulations, prototypes testing and drawings execution. Support other Product Engineers in calculation and mechanical simulation (CFD-FEA) Support Application Engineers in identifying potential application issues and solutions. Perform technical assistance to Sales Support, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Prepare and manage hydraulic product data (database, selection software, catalogs) Support functional manager in processing certification requirements, submission and documentation. Support other Product Engineers in: material selection, material analysis, analysis of product failures related to material issues. Participate in team activities related to product development, performances improvement, cost reduction and quality improvement. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - 1-3+ years of experience in the turbo-machinery industry would be preferred.- Working Experience in Fluid -Dynamics is a must- Knowledge of CFD software (Ansys Fluent is preferred) - Knowledge of FEA software (Ansys Mechanical is preferred)- Knowledge of CAD 3D software (Pro. Engineer or CREO in particular) is a must- Solid in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of tools (including Access).
