AGM Tech Solutions, on behalf of the Client - a Global Technology Company, is hiring an Infrastructure Project Manager. This is a hybrid opportunity working 3 days a week in New Jersey or Georgia.The Project Manager needs to have heavy Infrastructure experience - storage, networking, provisioning. Needs experience managing Data Center Migration or Cloud Migrations projects. Tools using : Jira, Excel, Power BI (won't be creating but know how to read and maneuver).Project Summary: This is a multi-initiative project where: Infrastructure teams are using Ansible Automation to automate Network, Compute, Storage and Database services. Some examples include Server Builds and Opening Firewalls K9 DevX teams are moving their Self Service portal to Service Now . There is some heavy lifting going on to ensure a seamless transition and currently facing quite a bit of data integrity issues which are actively being worked on. The SolveIT Portal (SNow) is dynamic and heavily relies on the data input There is a lot of integration happening between the backend (infra) & DevX teams as well as Service Now (they collaborate with both infra and devX teams and do the release coordination when a new service is being deployed ) Some Decomm activities HARD SKILLSAnsible Automation and other Automation practices Strong infrastructure background - Network, Compute, Storage, DatabaseKnowledge of how integrations works Strong PM skills - needs to be okay with ambiguity and not afraid to seek clarification.Knowledge of both traditional project management and agile frameworksTeams are operating in a sudo agile fashion. I believe leadership is really looking for traditional PMing and there is a PMO being spun up Knowledge of tools like - Jira (see if they have built cross project structures) Confluence, Power BI Experience with PI or Quarterly PlanningFacilitation of Demos across the org (8 teams) SOFT SKILLSExcellent communicator, can talk at the team level tech stuff and ability to translate to SLTSelf-Organized and motivated - must be able to multi-task, okay with using various tools for reporting and organized enough to know where to find everything.
