Instrument Designer

Job summary
ManpowerGroup is looking for an Instrument Designer for an international metalmechanical company based in Udine.The main objective of the Instrument Designer is to create and manage the basic and detailed design related to instrumentation for industrial plants.The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering or a diploma as a mechatronic/electrical/thermotechnical technician.

Responsibilities
• Development of engineering: preparation of basic and detailed design, selection of instrumentation, technical specifications of instruments and equipment, dimensioning of piping, and preparation of lists and datasheets.• Tabulation and technical alignment of instrumentation and equipment technical offers.• Control and coordination of the detailed project realized by subcontractors.• Technical management of subcontractors (engineering and procurement phases) with tabulation and technical alignment of offers related to instruments and equipment.• Visits to construction sites and/or approval meetings for developed engineering.
Requirements
• Degree in engineering (preferably electrical/thermotechnical) or diploma as a mechatronic/electrical/thermotechnical technician.• Good knowledge of technical drawings.• Good knowledge of Autocad and Office packages.• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).• Problem-solving skills.• Teamwork.• Precision and attention to detail.• Good organizational skills.
