Among the European leaders in Wealth Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a IT Consultant to join the Delivery IT team in its Bologna office.
PROFILECandidates will join technical consulting teams in the Italian and international banking sector. They will be mainly involved in data management aspects (database design and integration in software solution), with particular attention to aspects of normalization, data retention and performance, Tabular cube management, ETL logic implementation and integration to relational and non-relational databases, all in the context of software delivery projects oriented to distributed computing of large volumes of both on-premises and cloud data.
Ideal candidates are new graduates in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or high school graduates in the technical-industrial field with a focus on computer science.
TECHNICAL SKILLSThe following skills are considered a requirement:
knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (at least Client)ability to autonomously navigate and use the features offered by operating systems (no administrative skills required)knowledge of SQLability to read an ER (Entity Relationship) diagram and understand its semantics, read queries and correct them (both on static and dynamic SQL)knowledge of MS SQL Server and its main functions (backup, restore, list tables and their structure, use of SQL clients)knowledge of the English languageability to read and understand a technical document and read/write technical emails to the working groupproblem-solving aptitudeThe following skills are considered a plus:
knowledge of MS SQL Server Analysis Services and its main functions (cube creation, data queries with DAX language, scripting)knowledge of MS SQL Server Reporting Services and its main functions (report creation, administration and use of reporting web services)knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and its main functions (report creation)knowledge of PostgreSQL and its main functions (backup, restore, list tables and their structure, use of SQL clients)knowledge of Oracle and its main functions (backup, restore, list tables and their structure, use of SQL clients)knowledge of MS PowerShellability to write simple scripts based on that command shellknowledge of object-oriented software developmentknowledge of object-oriented programming principles o prior experience can help understand the configuration and setup of projects managed by the teamknowledge of managing cloud computing systems (preferably MS Azure)LOCATIONBologna
