Junior Project Engineer (Intern)

RIC Energy, a pioneering company in the renewable energy market with presence in four continents is seeking for a Junior Development Engineer (Intern) to join our team in Italy. Job Responsibilities As the Junior Project Engineer (Intern) at RIC Energy, your role is to support the Project Manager, particularly from the permitting and technical perspective, for projects involving photovoltaic systems (1÷50MW) and battery energy storage systems (10÷200MW). Your primary responsibilities include: • Project Coordination: Support the Project Manager in coordinating the entire lifecycle of photovoltaic systems (1÷50MW) and battery energy storage systems (10÷200MW) projects from the technical and permitting perspective, from initial development to final connection and ongoing operation. • Project development: Support the Project Manager in following all the permitting phases, participating in the public meetings and dialogue with the administrations and grid operator, ensuring the issuance of all the permits in due time • Technical support: Drafting of graphics, estimates, calculations, performing basic calculations, simulations and preliminary analysis • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency, applying lessons learned to future projects. • Reporting and Documentation: Coordinate with relevant Project Managers to prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management and stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, issues, and resolutions. • Monitoring and Compliance: Continuously monitor the adherence of projects to internal and external compliance requirements Education Master's degree in civil, environmental, energetic, management engineering (internship for master thesis can also be considered) Qualifications And Experience: • A Master's degree in engineering field • Good knowledge of the Office package, AUTOCAD and QGIS • A basic understanding of technical rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to HV and MV connection and infrastructure is a plus • Project management skills (methodology, rigor, confidentiality of the information, priorities management,…) • Good communication skills Italian (primary language) - English and/or Spanish fluent • Familiarity with regional regulations concerning PV plants and storage systems is a plus. • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English or Spanish.
