Job area Recherche & Développement Category Human care Location Desio, Italy Contract type Fix term contract Job description We are looking for a Down Stream Process Junior Scientist within the RnA (Research and Application) department.You will be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, therefore good interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to be organized, react promptly and meet deadlines when under pressure.This is a rare opportunity to gain a role in an ambitious, growing leading edge company with a global reputation where the atmosphere is professional and friendly, further qualifications and training are actively encouraged in a highly innovative team environment.As part of the DSP Lab, the main activities of your daily job will be: Collaborating in development, verification or improvement of purification methods of synthetic, semisynthetic or biosynthetic products by means of different separation techniques as filtration, microfiltration, nanofiltration, chromatography, centrifugationCollaborating in the development of drying methods through lyophilization and spray-drying techniquesCollaborating in execution of laboratory and pilot scale activities aimed at process development and troubleshootingSupport for scale-up of processes developed in the laboratoryPerform in-process basic controlsSearch and review of the scientific and patent literatureActivities of collecting, reviewing and managing results related to the search, drafting of research reports and scientific presentation.Managing equipment logbooks, basic maintenance of the laboratory equipmentManagement of safety records, hazardous disposal and laboratory reagents warehousing Qualifications Master degree in medicinal chemistry (CTF) or industrial Biotechnology or chemistryBasic competencies and practical experience of the main analytical techniques/instrumentsBasic competencies of purification techniques (Solid/liquid and liquid/liquid separation)Experience in scientific literature search and reviewPrevious experiences in the field are preferable but not mandatory
