We are currently seeking for a Central Operations Italy Inventory Control Manager to support the operations, hypercare and related stabilization with reference of the new Distribution Center based in Trecate (Novara).Job Description Your opportunity Act in a key role for maintaining the integrity of stock held in the Italian warehouses. Establish and develop the team, processes and procedures for control of Kering's physical warehouse inventory. Function as the reference point for brand, finance, operations and third party logistics provider (3PL) on all inventory control matters. Collaborate with the logistic provider in order to define and implement standard operating procedures, SLAs and KPIs, monitoring and reporting systems, ensure that inventory adheres to the expected targets and applies structured problem solving mechanism in case of important deviations or particular issues, coordinating the appropriate corrective actions and strongly support the continuous improvement of processes.
How you will contribute Analyze, recommend and execute enhancements to inventory stocking strategies, fulfillment process flows and optimization opportunitiesResponsible for leading teams to conduct audits on all activities inbound, putaway and storage activitiesAssigns work and monitors productivity to ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, housekeeping, and safetyMaintains a working knowledge of all inventory control processes and procedures. Creates and updates documentation on all inventory control SOP's. Support the logistics provider in the definition, implementation and ongoing execution of cycle counting procedures in the warehouses.In partnership with the various stakeholders, reconciles all inventory variances, transactions and systemic inventory to the physical counts.Manage the team of inventory controllers to secure the established business objectivesAdvise the 3PL on slotting and segmentation methodology and improvements within the warehouse.Define and maintain storage guidelines for a variety of product categories in a warehouse environment.Warehouse costs trackingRecording and monitoring of activity based rates and related volumesRequest quotation / assess and track special / out of standard activities and related costsWho you are Graduate in Logistics, Business Management, Operations or Engineering studiesPrior experience managing and executing inventory control in a warehouse environmentYou have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniorityYou are results - numbers driven with an analytical spiritYou have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentYou are proactive and able to manage activities autonomouslyYou have the ability to work in teamsYou have negotiation skillsExpert in using all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access, and Business Intelligence toolsYou have knowledge of ERP systemsFluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.Why working with us?
