APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: May, 6th 2024 Fondazione Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational and structural biology and neuroscience, as well as data and decisions sciences.
HT is looking for a highly motivated Legal Specialist to work in the Legal Department.
Under the supervision of the Legal Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in providing legal operational support to the scientific research activities of the Foundation, focusing on personal data protection as well as other relevant regulatory and contractual matters.
Your main tasks and responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating agreements pertaining the research activities (including collaboration, material/data transfer and data processing agreements).Providing assistance on matters pertaining data protection and other relevant regulatory matters, also ensuring that the relevant documental framework is compliant, accurate and kept up to date.Liaising with colleagues and externals to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the documentation pertaining the above matters.Monitoring the relevant legislative and regulatory framework evaluating the related impact on the Foundation's activities, providing timely and effective summaries. Mandatory requirements Master's degree in law (laurea magistrale in giurisprudenza: LMG-01).Fluency in Italian and English, both oral and written (HT is an international institute based in Italy).Preferential requirements The following requirements will be considered a plus:
previous experience dealing with matters relevant to the advertised position, either gained as in-house legal counsel or within law firms;relevant work experience gained in life sciences research institutes;post-lauream university master's courses of specialisation in matters relevant to the advertised position.Organizational and social skills The following skills are required and will also be monitored during the possible employment relationship:
