Leonardo Technical Support Analyst Location: Milan, Italy

GEOLOG is a world leader in oilfield services delivering solutions to Oil, Gas and Geothermal operators globally, with a workforce approaching 2,000 and operations in 40+ countries.

The Company seeks to add to its Milan-based Leonardo Technical Support team a position to focus on failure analysis and act as a link with the production and manufacturing team. The analyst will also be required to draft and update any necessary procedures, lessons learnt and equipment technical specifications.

THE POSITION
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to: To conduct full failure analysis, including identifying and understanding the root causes of defects, malfunctions, or failures in products, processes, or systems To summarise and document solutions in the Leonardo database by converting text/emails/procedures into searchable, indexed FAQs To convert the analysis of the most common problems into change requests for the manufacturing & production teams and to track their implementation To prepare multimedia materials in supplement technical notes To implement preventative maintenance of equipment based on failure data analysis REQUIREMENTS University degree in Electronic Engineering or other highly technical specialization To have a solid rig experience and competence in Surface Logging Services (preferably with Geolog) Experience in technical support is an advantage Demonstrated ability to draft and implement manuals and procedures Strong oral and written English language is essential Team player with ability to work within culturally diverse environments Availability for international travel
