About the RoleWe are seeking a practical, detail-oriented and innovative-thinking individual to support the Spare parts and service department. Specifically, the successful candidate will be working alongside the Spare Parts manager and will contribute to the creation of a new divisional logistics hub.We are looking for a logistics operations professional who will be involved in the following activities – not limited to: Warehouse management and stock planning, interfacing with internal (production, procurement) and external stakeholders.Inbound and outbound analysis: the successful candidate will analyze the overall effectiveness of the organization's supply chain, focusing on transportation, and stock levels to optimize the service for customers.Door-to-door service management: the successful candidate will analyze and support in improving the overall transit time to ensure a better delivery to our customersQuality assurance and claims management: the successful candidate will strive to improve quality standards to better manage and reduce non-conformity and will support the development of a claims management system to improve the overall service towards our customers.ESG implementation and management: the successful candidate will contribute to our aim of being a socially responsible manufacturing company, by supporting the transition towards sustainable shipping packaging. What You Need to Be SuccessfulWe would like to meet candidates with: Master's degree in industrial engineering, management engineering, or similar.A strong curiosity towards logistics optimization and supply chain and an innovative perspective towards these topics.5 years experience in similar roles within international, matrix-skilled organizations.Full business fluency in English, because the individual will daily interact and support stakeholders worldwide.Good command in data manipulation and visualization: knowledge of Python, R or similar will be considered a plus.Sheer commitment and dedication; able to work well autonomously and in a teamAble to build on established concepts and procedures as well as at ease at generating new ideas.
