Logistics Transportation ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Transportation Manager to join our Global Logistics Operations Team. This Transportation Manager will act as our lead transportation interface throughout Europe. Draw from your higher-level skills in this growth-oriented position at Applied Materials, a global leader in the dynamic and flourishing semiconductor industry. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience using industry and company best practices to solve problems and keep projects and programs running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Daily oversight of transportation network (EU International & Domestic).Point of contact for shipment/carrier issues in EU.Manage key escalations from customer/Field Service Operations/Global Customer Contact Centre on a timely basis. Expedite carrier recovery on customer tool down situation. Provide guidance to others.
