Logistics Transportation Manager We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Transportation Manager to join our Global Logistics Operations Team. This Transportation Manager will act as our lead transportation interface throughout Europe. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience using industry and company best practices to solve problems and keep projects and programs running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Daily oversight of transportation network (EU International & Domestic). Point of contact for shipment/carrier issues in EU. Manage key escalations from customer/Field Service Operations/Global Customer Contact Centre on a timely basis. Expedite carrier recovery on customer tool down situation. Provide guidance to others. Correct carrier defect in a major event impacting customer. Project Manage assigned portion of new carrier RFPs and onboarding. Carrier performance management - proactively review carrier defect analysis and improve on-time performance. Manage mid/complex level initiatives and projects. Provide guidance to extended Team members. Ensure 8D's (Eight Disciplines Methodology) are requested and appropriate corrective actions are in place for significant and/or ongoing transportation issues. What we are looking for in a Transportation Manager: A strong knowledge of Logistics Transportation Management. Analytics based decision-making experience. The ability to work independently but also part of a global team. Ability to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; in this role you may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Project Management experience. Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. Customer Management. Strong Excel Skills. Some working knowledge of SAP. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Experience: At least 4 years in a similar role, ideally within the semiconductor or similar industry.
