Then you are the right person to join us as a SLE Fleet Maintenance Engineering Support Coordinator in Vado Ligure, Italy.Purpose of the jobThe Fleet Maintenance Engineer Support Coordinator is part of SLE (Services Locomotive Europe) organization. The mission of Fleet Maintenance Engineering is to support the local Field Maintenance Engineers on Corrective & Preventive Maintenance related to maintenance projects on fleets of railway vehicles. The activities start from the delivery of the fleet over its whole life-time (including the feedback loop to new design). Field Maintenance Engineering supports product lines Fleet Maintenance (FM), with main focus on TRAXX fleets, but not only.All the above should be achieved by:Have a complete understanding of the maintenance regime of rolling stock fleets; Collect and appraise in-service field data (failure data and all other maintenance related data, within several FM projects) in accordance with AT procedures and tools; Ensure maintenance labour and material cost related data (the "actual") are collected in a correct way and immediately available to PM and Procurement; Provide verified and consistent RAM & LCC information (raw and elaborated data) to Fleet Engineering for the study of opportunities and the preparation of new FM offers/bids; Proactively contribute to achieve and keep contractual RAM & LCC performances all over the contract duration, including analyzing the failure mode and the identification of the critical systems and subsystem (driving the evaluation of items to monitor by prognostic analysis); Support the localteams on the MMS setup (Maximo), operation and troubleshooting also sharing information coming from other BT organization; Act as a FRACAS facilitator in the FM Projects' Core Teams; Monitor that, within data collection and technical support, the vehicles configuration is properly managedAT = Alstom TransportationRAM & LCC = Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Life Cycle CostMMS = Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO)FRACAS = Failure Report Analysis and Corrective Action SystemRESPONSIBILITIESREQUIREMENTSVery solid background in Maintenance Engineering is key due to high responsibility for railways vehicles' management with detailed knowledge of locomotives maintenance processes and general maintenance practices.A good understanding of railways vehicle design and how it impacts whole life costs, and also how Clients operational requirements influence the design and maintenance strategy. (Design for Serviceability)Good technical understanding to easily work/move within a highly innovative and constantly changing technical environment. Constant and comprehensive exchange with Product Engineering, Logistic and Procurement functions is required on a daily basis.Is required experience with industrial engineering, maintenance projects or vehicles fleet management and all related aspects (customer requirements handling, support to manufacturing and operations maintenance costing, development of maintenance strategies, interface with other internal departments and/or Customers).Excellent communication skills (able to communicate to stakeholders at several organizational levels), together with a track record in negotiating to achieve optimal all around agreements.Italian - fluent, English- fluent, other languages are considered a plus (German mainly).You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
