We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.Provide innovative solutions to our precious customersYou will be selling our cybersecurity product range to new enterprise customers in Italy. You will be responsible for the full cycle of sales activities from lead generation to deal closure. You will lead new account acquisitions, and will work with stakeholders across our businessAs a Senior Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:Fostering long-term, trusted relationships by understanding customer needs and being an advocate for AkamaiMaintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to increase visibility of prospectsMeeting bookings and revenue growth quota within the set of assigned accounts to meet and exceed forecastsGenerating demand for additional products and services within your assigned accounts to grow existing revenueWorking with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customer's requirements are successfully deliveredHaving a ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers CXODo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have proven track record in selling cybersecurity solutions to large enterprise accountsDemonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planningDemonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including hosting, networking a strategic landscapeBe able to work in a collaborative, results oriented environmentBe a self-starter, excited about working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environmentHave a ability to build executive level relationships with high-level customers CXOHave good written and verbal communication skills in Italian and EnglishShow an understanding of our customers businesses, pain points and how we can propose solutionsWork in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
