DescriptionThe Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of Special Events, Banquets and Entertainment, ensuring excellent quality and guest service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks closely with the Events and Entertainment Supervisor to coordinate banquets, events, entertainment and concerts.Assists the Events and Entertainment Supervisor in administrative tasks including Team Member training, scheduling and support as needed.Performs the responsibilities of the Event Team Member position as needed.Provides and receives first level communications to and from Events Team Members in order to ensure information is sufficient to complete their daily tasks.Ensures all necessary Marketing Policies and Procedures are followed in the coordination of banquets, events, entertainment and concerts.Resolves or refers to management all guest concerns, complaints or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.Coordinates the setup, servicing of the function, breakdown & cleanup events.Attends banquets, events, entertainment and concerts as required to ensure successful outcome and quality.Ensures compliance with company standards for performance, service to patrons, licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with all departments, including needed property or service concerns.Integrates the Three Rivers brand purpose into all processes, communications and guest/team member experiences.Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicates to other team Members, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs.Provides information and explains Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.Ensure living the brand/purpose in all work activities: "Every day, we deliver uncommonly kind experiences that connect people to the coast."Other duties as directed by management.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. Your commitment will help us meet our Purpose.EVERY DAY, WE DELIVER UNCOMMONLY KIND EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT PEOPLE TO THE COAST.RequirementsEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITYMinimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.Must have 2 years combined experience in guest service, banquets or events role or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by TRCR's insurance agency.Intermediate understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment.Ability to work without supervision, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts of details necessary.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.#J-18808-Ljbffr
