Mechanical Testing Engineer - R&D Labs

Job DescriptionWe are looking for Mechanical Testing Engineers to join our R&D Labs, in our HQ in Piombino Dese (PD)As a Test Engineer, you will check materials, procedures and mechanical systems to ensure that customers get high-quality, functional products. You will develop and run tests on various components and features in order to characterize the functional properties resulting in certain performances and thus identifing and fixing any technical issues. You will work closely with the design and development teams to understand why we're building a product and what the specific requirements are. You will run a series of tests through all stages of design and production to identify potential malfunctions and recommend improvements. Fields of Application:Drug Delivery Systems & Medical Devices (DDS)Drug Containment Solution/Container Closure Systems/pharmaceutical primary ans secondary packaging (DCS)Some of your responsibilities:Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities and safety standards)Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followedRun quality controls on components and final productsDevelop test for all mechanical and electrical systemsAnalyze test results, detect issues and track root causesSuggest fixes and improvementsDocument technical issues and solutionsEnsure our products and procedures meet industry standards (e.g. ISO) #LI-DNIQualificationsEngineering Master's degree in: mechanical, mechatronic, biomedical, materials science, physics or relevant fieldsPhD on related fields (is a plus)Good English language proficiencyMechanical aptitude and materials knowledge are required (glass, plastic and rubber preferred)Experience/familiarity with functional/mechanical testing (according to ISO 9001)Knowledge of Universal testing machines (dynamometer, tribometer, etc.)Statistical analysis of dataset (Minitab preferred) and design of experimentRoot cause analysis and troubleshooting skillsSoftware: good knowledge of Minitab,Microsoft Office,Six sigma and/or green belt certification (nice to have)Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) (nice to have)Adherence to Stevanato Group's Values: Trust and respect everyone; Be accountable; Be ethical, always; Listen and communicate with transparency and honesty; Deliver results
