Medical Assistant

DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced, caring Medical Assistant for a full-time position in our Naples location. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, and inform patients for their appointment. Potential candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships.
Responsibilities include: Assisting physician with patient carePrepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomyDocument patient care in the medical records system accurately and in a timely mannerOrganize, stock and clean rooms as well as sterilize instrumentsAnswering phones/scheduling appointments as well as general Administrative tasksSkills & Requirements Certified Medical Assistant; MA certification or completion of courseHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWeekend Rotation will be required and should be available to begin work as early as 7 a.m.you will need to travel to the Miami office for training, and PTO coverage at Cooper City or Miami2 years prior experience required, preferably in the healthcare settingProficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical recordsMust be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirementWhat we offer you!
