Medical Claims Writer (Remote)

Salary: $100,000 - 120,000 per year. We are seeking a Medical/Claims Writer. Candidate can work remotely, but needs to be local to DC to come on site for meetings once a month. Independently review and analyze complex files thoroughly, including medical records, tax records, correspondence, and similar materialsWrite unbiased, complete, and concise summaries of the facts, while using discretion to write recommendations for further actionCompose clear and concise letters involving complex matters in deliverable form for clientCollaborate with team to design and provide strategic responses to a high volume of complex mattersReview work product of team members and provide editorial comments and technical suggestionsQualifications:
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree requiredAt least 5 years of substantial writing and/or editing experienceExperience reviewing medical records preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Office preferred
