HDG is looking for a motivated New Business Developer / Sales Manager to join the international team in the Venice office.DESCRIPTIONThe New Business Developer / Sales Manager will be in charge of developing new business opportunities by increasing the existing client portfolio of HDG.The ideal candidate has gained experience in sales roles with a consultative and strategic approach, in leading communication agencies based in Venice.The New Business Developer / Sales Manager will be responsible for the daily management of relationships with clients, overseeing the daily work of staff on specific projects that he/she will be in charge of.RESPONSIBILITIESActively search for new potential customers through constant and careful monitoring, by creating a new network of contactsDefine and implement commercial strategies aimed at acquiring new clients, as well as propose and suggest functional solutions to achieve the client's objectivesCreate ad hoc e-mail communications and newsletters with the use of the proprietary database, maintaining follow-ups by phone calls and e-mails, in order to strengthen the commercial proposition of the agency's services by fostering relationships, contacts, and functional explorations for business developmentDevelop market analyses and new activities aimed at acquiring new business opportunities (new contacts, new strategies for contacting companies, new activities, etc.)Prepare quotes and commercial offers up to contracting, manage all necessary back office activities as well as check the efficiency and margins of acquired projectsEnsure the achievement of quantitative and qualitative targetsMonitor customer satisfaction on a regular basis, taking notes and sharing a periodic report (Customer Satisfaction Paper) with company managementDevelop proposals, presentations, quotes, marketing plans and timelinesRevise drafts and materials to determine their consistency with the brief received and present conceptsCoordinate and manage accountment activities (finding customers, developing new business opportunities, etc.)Coordinate the creative team, in collaboration with the Creative DirectorREQUIRED SKILLSExperience as New Business Developer in Communication Agencies (roles in other types of companies are excluded)Strong fixed targets orientationExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work both in a team and on your ownFlexibility and organisational skillsDegree in marketing, economics, communication sciencesWith own carThe figure will report directly to the Managing Partner of the Venice office.PREFERRED SKILLSKnowledge of the Adobe Suite (especially Photoshop and Indesign)Understanding and use of social media and digital activitiesSkills in simultaneously managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlinesProblem-solving and creativityWHAT WE OFFERCollaboration with a prestigious communication and design agencyWork in a creative environmentContacts with big brandsOpportunities for professional growthPossible internal mobilityBecome part of a young and international teamHDG has a strong reputation in strategic design.
