MISSION: We are looking for an Operations Buyer to join the Purchasing teams of Lagostina production site, located in Omegna. Omegna is the Italian production site of Groupe SEB dedicated to the production of pressure cookers and pots and pans under the brand Lagostina.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager for the Cookware Business Unit (around 15 M€ spend on 5 sites), you will be focus on generating productivity and value by partnering with the various departments the Purchasing teams are supporting. Your main missions will be:
- Manage day to day activities on Purchasing families for the Purchasing Cookware cluster, according to category strategies.
- Propose and lead local productivity plan and value creation from RP4 (Mass production starting)
- Deploy productivity plan from Category leaders for current year and N+1 N+2 coming years
- Ensure implementation of purchasing action plans in Omegna site, coordinating with other cluster's sites.
- Participates into the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process.
- Interact with Purchasing community: participates to strategy definition with the category leaders.
PROFILE: - Engineering, Business or Purchasing degree, you also have at least five years' experience in a direct purchasing function into medium/big company with an industrial footprint.
- A previous experience on industrial activities (R&D, Quality, Logistics, Operations…), will be appreciated with a good knowledge in metal parts production / transformation.
- Strong ability to work transversally. You will be interfacing with the five other sites of the Cookware Cluster located in different geographies worldwide. You will also work with global Purchasing teams (Category Management).
- Considering the interlocutors and the mission, you are fluent in Italian but also in English.
