Pds Formulation Scientist Support Intern From Pharmatech Academy

The PDS Formulation Scientist Support Intern will join the Formulation Development laboratory, a dynamic and passionate environment! The role will have the chance to gain experience in pre-formulation studies and formulation optimization of injectable products (liquid and lyophilized products) as well as process optimization for the scale-up of manufacturing process. Also, you will have the chance to learn different analytical techniques, including chromatography, spectrophotometry (HPLC, UV) thermal analysis (DSC, FDM) and lyophilized product characterization (Karl Fisher analysis).Demonstrating your experience with, you will specifically focus on the following tasks:Support in generate key documentation including the laboratory batch protocols and reports as well as documents for the accurate use of instruments present in the laboratory according to laboratory SOP.Perform laboratory batch manufacturing following specified instructions from Formulation Scientist and Supervisor.Initiate and supervise material purchasing required for the project and provide continuous updates regarding materials delivery.Support activities as assigned be aligned with all job related safety and other training requirements.Coordinates with the Supervisor with the aim of maintaining a high level of customer happiness and completing the required activities on scheduleProvide support for the production of laboratory batch.How you will get there?Ability to prepare buffer solutions and to perform common chemical analysis.English and Italian languages (professional knowledge)Knowledge with lyophilization process will be a plus. Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesGood problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteWilling to work with priorities, under time constraints and in a team with varied strengthsAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 100,000 outstanding minds has a unique story to tell.
