TheSoskic group , within the Population and Medical Genomics Program,uses a wide range of immunological and genomic assays to study B cell biology, antibody diversity and variation in the human immune system in health and disease.We are looking for a highly-motivated person with wide interests in immunogenomics and B cell biology.
The successful candidate will report to Dr. Blagoje Soskic.
Main tasks andresponsibilities: Design, performance and analysis of experiments to dissect the mechanisms of B cell activation and antibody diversification;Analysis and interpretation of multimodal sequencing datasets (including scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, long-read sequencing technologies);Generating and recording data, protocols and/or codes for publication;Publishing reproducible research;Interacting and supporting other group members;Sharing and discussing research results with collaborators;Presenting scientific results in international meetings. Mandatory requirements: PhD in genomics, immunology, or genetics (or expected to complete the degree in the next 6 months);Fluency in English – HT is an international research institute.Preferred requirements: Experience with high-throughput sequencing data;Good knowledge of R or Python;Experience with B cell biology;Broad technical and scientific understanding of immunology and genomics;Organizational and social skills: Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to lead and gain the assistance and cooperation of others in a team endeavor;Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and to work independently;Ability to build trust and create an open and positive environment;Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;Application Instructions Please apply by sending:
