For the new opening of the florentine Anglo American hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton 5*, we are lookingfor an Head Barman.
The Head barmanprovides knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste,and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets,ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
Duties and Responsabilities: · Have a passionfor wines and spirits with the ability to recommend and advise guests
· Ensure proper pouring,mixing, blending, of drinks
· Cashing up
· Serve drinks toguests, along with filling orders for the Food and Cocktail Servers
· As a Head Barman,you will supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverageservice that adds to a superior Guest experience and is in accordance withlicensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages
· You will be theface of the outlet, communicating with the kitchen and the guests alikeensuring a smooth and memorable experience
· Delivering a fivestar luxury lifestyle service experiences
· Knowing our menuand product – you are our number two on the Bar, and every recommendation youmake reflects your knowledge, experience and your reputation as a senior barprofessional
· Leading the Barteam on day to day duties supporting the wider F&B Management team withdaily operational tasks
· Conduct weeklytraining sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, and up-selling
Requisiti Responsabilities for Head Barman: · Creating anattractive atmosphere through service and ambiance
· Deliver beveragesan meals to our guests across Food & Beverage outlets
· Ensure allpurchases are processed accurately
· Daily preparationand closing of bar area, including stock management and cleaning duties
· Be attentive andproactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the guest andrestaurant management team
· Control the barduring service, taking orders and issuing bills and act as the lead when theBar Manager is absent
· Coach newbartenders and bar backs following a training schedule and ensure the correctstandards and methods of service are maintained
· Have anunderstanding of stock control and assist the Bar Manager in weekly stocktaking
· Responsible formanaging all Bar operations to deliver unrivalled guest experience, with afocus on creativity and authenticity
· Responsible forcontinually checking that guest service standards are set, implemented andmonitored in line with set standards
Qualifications for Head Barman · Must be at theminimum age to serve alcohol in line with local legislative requirements
· Monitor baropening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders
· College Degree inHotel Management
· Strong abilitiesspoken and written in italian and in english are required.
