Process Technology Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a process engineer to join the Technological Process function inside the Engineering division of the Stevanato Group, which designs, manufactures, and assembles forming lines to produce pharmaceutical glass containers.The function goal is to develop and apply new technologies and processes to standard machines to improve their performance; the candidate, therefore, reporting directly to the function manager will have the following objectives:Analysis of the technological processes and of the interaction between the products and the contact materials of the production processResearch and development of new technologies for the improvement and development of production processesSupport to corporate functions (operations, MS&T, Technical offices) for the design, implementation, and development of technological processes already in place in the production linesScouting and selection of possible suppliers for new technologiesTake measurements and analyze data to support machinery research and development projectsAct as Project Manager in specific R&D projects with the aim of develop new equipment'sQualificationsBasic requirements: Master's Degree in Material or Chemistry Engineering;At least three or four years of experience in process and production environmentKnowledge of the physical/chemical characteristics of glassKnowledge and experience in the application of polymers and on silicon in particularLanguage: English B2Software: Office Excel Power BIAre considered a plus:Knowledge on the surface engineeringKnowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma MethodsKnowledge of MinitabsKnowledge of Inventor or other Technical Design software
