Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.1 - Position :Project PA Manager – Institutional2 - Location:Rome – Italy3 - Job Description:The incumbent will ensure the implementation of all Product Assurance tasks on institutional projects for the assigned perimeter (project or sub-system), and as such she/he willEnsure the compliance to project requirements or, as applicable, that deviations are duly documented and justifiedEnsure that project activities are carried out in compliance to Company Quality Management System, applicable Standards and RegulationsEstablish and maintain appropriate interface with the Customer Quality representative, for all relevant PA mattersRepresent the privileged interface for the Project Management team for all relevant PA mattersEstablish the Project PA Plan (if applicable) in accordance to the PA requirements, and ensure that it is correctly implemented throughout the ProjectEnsure Non-Conformities are managed according to applicable requirements and processes internally and within suppliers, ensuring proper visibility to the CustomerCoordinate the activities of the Project Quality team, ensuring that the PA Plan is correctly flowed down at all levels, internally and towards external suppliersPrepare selected Quality documents under her/his responsibility, and verify/approve other project Quality documentsEnsure a proper reporting of Quality aspects towards the Customer, the PMO and the managementControl technology validations and hardware and component qualification according to the Development PlanEnsure the participation to (internal and Customer) Project meetings and reviews as relevant, providing Quality contribution whenever necessaryEnsure that lessons learnt are formalized, capitalized & promotedExercise the duty of alerts and the right of vetoes according to existing processesEnsure that all Risk Management processes are well executed, and provide proactive contributionsEnsure that continuous improvement processes are in place and implemented4 - Main Interfaces:TAS Project Manager and PMO teamCustomer PA Manager and Project teamQ representatives of suppliers and partners, as applicable5 - Required Experiences and Skills5 years' experience in the Space Domain7 years in Quality (preferably as Project / Product PA)Knowledge of ECSSFluency in EnglishVery good communication and negotiation skillsCapability to effectively coordinate and delegateProactivity, open-mindednessAt Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
