Job Title: Product Configuration EngineerProduct Configuration Engineer is the figure who analyzes and processes the configuration of BLM Group machines and automation systems, using the software featuresERP (SAP) to represent the product requirements requested by customers,translating them into technical and functional configurations.It represents an internal reference role (for Sales, UT, Planning, Purchasing, Production) to understand, deepen, transfer the product requirements of the customer into the company's systems.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and develop the product configurationBLMGroup to represent the product requirements requested by customers; Verifythat technical information is correctly transferred to functionscompanies involved: Design, Production, Purchasing, Sales and Assistancetechnique; Defineand monitor –within the company areas involved – the processescreation and exchange of information relating to the configuration ofproducts.ActivitiesAnalysis and processing of the product configurationin System language, to guarantee the functioning of the entire process; In-depth analysis of customer requests with colleaguesof Sales for the correct configuration in the company systems, in orderto ensure the technical feasibility of the proposed configurations and evaluateimpacts on the supply chain; Verification of theconsistency and validity ofconfigurations, through internal testing and validation, ensuring they are metquality standards and customer needs; Use of SAP management software: support for analysis andconsultation of the data present in the system relating to the configuration ofproduct; Support for planning and monitoring phasesof industrialization and production, to Sales, to illustratein detail the configured technical and functional specifications; Organisation and management of away meetingstechnological, in order to support innovation and correct useconfigurator.Note : in relation to the above, it is important to underline that in each job description the information provided is necessarily synthetic, focused on the main objectives entrusted to the position; in the normal performance of work, it is necessary to provide for integration with tasks, activities and responsibilities that have logical relevance and correlation with the description and information expressed.Must haveWork experience - even brief - in line with the role sought; Willingness to contribute - also methodologically - to the proper management of information and its transfer; Aptitude in the useof new SW and integrated management systems (ERP); Curious and innovation-oriented attitude; Accuracy and attention to detail; Good interpersonal and communication skills; English language known at B2 level.Nice to haveKnowledge and use of SAP or other ERPs; Experience with product configuration SW; Working experience in companies in the engineering industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
