Product Development Manager - High End Luxury Fashion

LHH Recruitment Solutions – Retail, Fashion & Luxury Goods is looking for a Product Manager to join an important international high-end luxury brand and manage the RTW products development. ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our client's company as a Product Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of all MW+WW RTW products, including trim and rawmaterials, ensuring they meet the delivery, quality, and cost parameters. Your main responsibilities will include:Ensuring that protos and SMS (Salesman Samples) arrive on time, allowing for efficient product development and production processes.Effectively communicating product specifications to the suppliers, ensuring that they fully understand our requirements and can deliver accordingly.Identifying areas for product improvement and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the development process.Maintaining and improving product quality, ensuring that our garments meet the highest standards.Engineering garments for cost optimization, finding innovative solutions to reduce production costs without compromising on quality.Ensuring that sizing, measurements, and grading are followed accurately, optimizing the fit of our garments.Setting clear timelines for development planning, ensuring that all milestones are met and projects are completed on time.Growing and internally developing the product team, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.Supporting in factory sourcing of new categories, expanding the product range and exploring new opportunities.Controlling all development costs according to budget, ensuring that expenses are kept in check.Aligning final product costs with budget and merch-plan expectations, ensuring profitability.Assessing and approving the engineering of all new developments, ensuring they meet the quality standards.Reviewing, controlling, and signing off on all sizing and tech packs for accuracy, ensuring that all specifications are correct.Collaboration with the Design Department; Merchandising; PurchaseManagement of the buying tasksYour ProfileStrong problem-solving skillsHighly organizedCan-do attitudeExcellent relationship-building and maintenance skillsKnowledge of fabrics (preferably knitwear)NegotiationTimelines ManagementWe are looking for a profile with a senior professional background in high-end luxury, who is willing to travel across the international factories, a relocation could be provided, the offices are based in Milano Montenapoleone.#LI-BT1
