For Our ClientAutomotive CompanyWe are looking forPRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEADER – (Plastic division)Place of workProvincia di Torino – Prima cinturaResponsabilities and RoleLead all product development activities on the allocated projectsHave indirect leadership responsibility for all product development projects team membersMember of project team coordinated by the Program ManagerDevelop a schedule of product development activities and track their delivery, reporting out status to the Program Manager and/or others as requiredManage and report project resources and expenditure vs. agreed targets, report deviations to PMSupport Program Managers through adherence to the product development process and the timely completion of gate deliverablesPerform technical risk and issue analysis and management, and ensure appropriate escalation for resolution where neededLead product configuration and change management activities for the product development teamProvide product development impact analysis to Program Manager for customer and/or internal driven changesLead in the identification and resolution of technical product development issuesProvide technical liaison with external/internal customers as first point of contactSupport Quality in the analysis of warranty claimsSkills and RequirementsEducation: degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or similar is preferred3-5 years work experience in a similar role, preferably in automotive fieldPrevious experience/knowledge of project management techniques and toolsPrevious experience/knowledge of D-FMEA and P-FMEA toolsPrevious experience/knowledge of CAE methodologies and toolsPrevious experience/knowledge of product validation tests and equipmentKnowledge of metal components design/materials/manufacturing technologies is preferredBasic knowledge of intellectual property aspects related to product developmentCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsDecision-making, communication, influencing and leading skillsTeamwork, negotiationAdaptability and stress toleranceGood English language both spoken and written is a mustPERMANENT CONTRACT
