The Program Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The role requires an experienced leader with a clear understanding of project management and a proven record in government contract management.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term project or a segment of a larger project.Coordinate the project staff and manage the project budget and resource allocation.Provide direction and support to the project team to comply with project deliverables.Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project.Submit all project deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements.Designate an alternate PM to ensure continuity in leadership and project management.Ensure all project phases are documented and comply with company standards and governmental regulations.Requirements:Must be a United States Citizen.Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field or at least ten years' experience in managing large-scale government projects.Extensive knowledge of government project management processes, methodologies, and regulations.Demonstrated leadership in managing people and project processes in a project management environment.Independent thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading a team and working under tight deadlines.Must be available to work full-time onsite during specified hours and as required by project needs.The following questions are entirely optional.
