Research, identify, and evaluate potential solar PV, Agri-PV, and solar-BESS project opportunities in Italy; Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments, including site evaluation, resource analysis, and technical studies to determine project viability; Establish and maintain relationships with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to secure project sites, including contract negotiation; Collaborate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project development; Ensure projects adhere to local, regional, and national regulations and standards; Manage grid connection point identification, application to grid operator, grid connection proposal evaluation and support to the acceptance and approval procedure; Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create project specifications, layout, and technical drawings; Manage and coordinate project teams and contractors to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Geology, Project Management or equivalent qualification; Proven experience in utility scale renewable energy projects; Native Italian speaker and able to speak and write English on a professional level; Knowledge of environmental planning tools and Italian regulations in the field of renewable energy; Preferably experienced in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) (Arcgis, QGIS, AUTOCAD).Availability for frequent travel; Strong management skills and flexibility; Extreme spirit of initiative and high degree of proactivity.Level and salary according with actual experience, attractive bonus scheme based on project ownership and success, smart-working twice a week.Our client, an international company focused on the development of renewable energy projects in Italy, is looking for an Italy-based Project Developer and Permitting Engineer.
