Project Control Engineer

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard tools and techniquesMonitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on trackCollaborate with project teams to collect and analyse project data, including cost, schedule, and resource informationPrepare accurate cost estimates and budgets, considering project scope, resource requirements, and market conditionsQualifications:Proven experience as a Project Controls Engineer, Project Planner or similar role in the construction or engineering industryProficiency with project software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data setsRequirementsCompetencies & Soft Skills:Excellent Microsoft Office SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent understanding of project dynamics and lifecycleExcellent team working skillsExcellent working knowledge of all elements of Project Controls (Cost control, Project estimating, planning, scheduling, reporting and change)Ability to work under pressureSelf motivated, with excellent analytical skills and ability to work under own initiativeStrong contractual appreciation and a good understanding of typical legal parameters and restrainsTeam Leadership skillsExcellent understanding and experience of the following project scopes; EPC, FEED and Detailed DesignA working understanding of the engineering principles involved in a typical FEED and Detailed DesignQualifications/Experience:Engineering degree or equivalent with extensive Project Management experiencePreferably Prince 2 Practitioner or APM equivalent#J-18808-Ljbffr
