Join the Team - we are waiting for youAbout the role:As a project engineer, you will be in chargeof:Reviewing project proposals and plans to develop project objectivesCollecting and analyzing project information to create status reports and recommend future actionsDeveloping of plannings and procedures for the on-site activitiesWriting periodical technical reportsThe projects will cover:Radiological characterization of radioactive wastePre-treatment, sorting and repackaging of historical wasteInvestigation and treatment of sludges and dubious liquidsRemediation of contaminated areasSafe overpacking of lose Intermediate Level Waste (ILW)Treatment and conditioning of radioactive waste according to European's waste acceptance criteriaCandidate requirements:MSc in Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similarFluent English.The knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plusKnowledge of gamma spectrometry (Isocs/LabSocs)Radiation protection and basic nuclear physics knowledge.Excellent knowledge of the Italian Nuclear Waste regulationsKnowledge of the MS Office Suite (in particular Word and Excel)The knowledge of programming languages such as Python will be considered as a plusStrong relational skills and customer oriented approachNice to have:0 - 2 years experience in the nuclear field.
