The R&D E2E System Project Manager will manage system level R&D product initiatives from inception through delivery. Projects consist of new System Software releases, third party product integrations and interop events. The R&D E2E System Project Manager will also provide project management support to one or more Software project teams.ResponsibilitiesManage JMA End to End product development process for newSystem level product releases.Manage application teams through the software development lifecycleManage other R&D projects such as third party product integrations and interop initiativesWork with globally distributed teamsWork with Product Management to capture features/requirements for analysisWork with Product Management and team leads to build the product backlogFacilitate release planning through the analysis and estimation of product backlog itemsDevelop a project plan covering feature scope, resources, milestones and timelineFacilitate regular product level team scrumsEnsure application development teams are aligned with project goalsEngage downstream teams such as documentation, NPI, training, solutions and field engineering to facilitate their readiness tocommercialize product releasesMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesFacilitate the development of JMA E2E process gate materials and approvalsEstablish and maintain project tracking dashboards and KPIsPublish weekly project reports to provide appropriate level of project status for stakeholdersMaintain project metrics and utilize to improve planning and predictability of projectsStandardize and keep track of project processes including but not limited to documentation, risk management, change controlAccountable and responsible that the teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, teamaccountability, and visibilityAssist with development and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and standardsContribute process improvements to the JMA development and management processesMinimum QualificationsRequires 6+ years of project management experience developing telecommunications and software productsPMP certificationBachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Project ManagementSolid understanding of software development life cycleExpert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit the project and environmentExperience with Smartsheet or similar project planning toolsExperience with JIRA and ConfluenceAdvanced MS Excel skillsExcellent communications, written, and oral skills.
