Project Software Engineer (Remote)

This position requires US citizenship and is looking for people that have worked for government contracts before. This position is 100% remote and is looking for someone who has 5+ years of DevOps experience.
The Responsibilities Supporting control systems testing, equipment commissioning, field testing and system acceptance including operational readiness testing. Engage with projects encompassing the software lifecycle spectrum Participate as OTech representative for corporate IT and Software Center of Excellence DevOps initiatives Setting up industrial communication protocols and VFD configuration.Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.Previous technical internship(s) or co-op, if applicable.Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.The Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 5+ years of practical experience in DevOps Working knowledge of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and motor control schematics.Demonstrated ability using Ethernet and control system communication protocols.Experience with Rockwell, Wonderware, and similar PLC/HMI software.A registered professional engineer is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
