Because good food is a joy for the present and a choice for a better future.Barilla is looking for a talented student/new graduate for a 6-months internship opportunity within our Quality & Technology team, based in our Cremona Plant.As an active member of the team, this experience will give you the opportunity to develop your talent in a professional working environment of a global company, where you will gain valuable insights, skills and competencies that will help you build your expertise.For students, the internship can also represent the opportunity to work on a project that could be the topic of final dissertation.Internship ObjectivesCQ Cremona plant aims at guaranteeing the Quality and Food Safety of bakery soft products made in Cremona plant and other copackers of the Barilla group, through specific analysis.You will support the management of the analytical part of finish products:Collecting and analyzing samples to check quality and food safety, using standard or new methods if neededProviding results to Q&FS groups/ stakeholders and feed Dashboard with SAP toolGuaranteeing and verifying the accuracy of the data in order to obtain robust KPIsBeing able to evaluate the results criticallyYou will contribute to the management of all the analytical evaluations on soft bakery finished products preparing samples for the analysis; contributing to analysis execution, collecting data and inserting the results in SAP tool, organizing samples collection/ stocking, elaborating data and results sharing/interpretationYou will also support other plant projects, such as:Creating reports on new process validation (e.g. Cleaning process)Training the new- comers and spreading quality culture among the plantRoll out and feeding Veeva System to manage Barilla Quality system (insert info on NC, CAPA, RCA, Audit)Candidate's Ideal ProfileDegree in Food Technology, Chemistry or similarIntellectual curiosity, flexibility and open-minded approachVery good interpersonal skills, communication and team work attitudeAccuracy and analytical skillsFluent Italian and EnglishDigital skills on different tool like SAP and LIMS are consider a plusWhat We OfferInternship reimbursement, company canteenPersonal TutorAdditional InformationLocation: Cremona (Italy)Duration: 6 monthsStart Date: April/May 2024Barilla is an equal opportunity employer.
