Every day.Our driving force is to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet.TheQuality AssuranceTeam is looking for aQuality Engineer (Regular contract, full time)in our Monza site.Who you areWe are looking for a person with:Excellent problem-solving skills anddocumentation/proceduralskills.Action-OrientedDecision QualityExcellent communication capabilitiesDrive ResultsWilling and able to work independently and persistentlyStructured and analytical approach to assignmentsCustomer Focus: good standing in front of customers and suppliers.What about the jobIn your role you will:Secure alignment between global, local procedures and policies.Create and conduct audit plans and monitoring plans for module workshops and sub-suppliers.Follow-up on audits and corrective actions.Create dedicated Inspection test plans for premium projects, based on project manager inputs and/or marine class requirements.Support, as investigation entity, claim investigations with DMAIC methodology.Follow certification tasks with 3rd parties.QMS (Quality Management System) and procedures development.Engage and drive continuous improvements projects on internal processes.What you knowEngineer or other technical educationKnowledge in skid-based packages (pumps, heat exchangers, piping, valves, instruments, automations)Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 and European directives (Machinery, PED,Atex…).Knowledge in P&IDs and in mechanical drawingsKnowledge with welding, painting and other industrial inspections.Knowledge and experience with Marine classification societies will be an asset.6Sigma certification (yellow, green, black) will be an asset.Good spoken and written EnglishKnowledge and use of MicrosoftWindows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).With the purpose of accelerating success for our customer, people and planet, Alfa Laval has developed products since 1883.
