For more information, click here .What you will doThe R&D Deployment Senior Manager is responsible to implement the EMEA R&D Baby Care end-to-end 3 years Pipeline, deliver defined aspects of product development for innovations, compliance and priority projects. The Sr Mgr is accountable for to all team deliverables. The portfolio of brands includes Johnson's Baby and Aveeno as well as Penaten and Bebe.Key Responsibilities· Execute the end-to-end pipeline for priority formats including shampoo/cleansers and lotions, as well as for all other formats including oils, wipes and others, supporting the business strategy for our consumers, customers, and planet.· Local Lead role in R&D for technical problem resolution and project delivery criteria, demonstrating superior technical formulation knowledge and very good understanding of formulated products processing / scale-up.· Deliver science that supports assets and expertise to support flawless execution in the region.· Lead a team of scientists by example, driving their talent and development agenda.· Understands the research landscape and leverages internal and external networks to access scientific technologies that enable our go-to-market model.Anticipates external activities, regulatory developments, and sustainability trends to support a pipeline and portfolio that are robust and competitive in terms of performance, claims, and cost, which meets the requirements of the business and consumers' needs.· Ensure all processes and activities comply with company policies and applicable external regulations/laws. Provide and nurture the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance.Leadership:• Navigates the organization and aligns people and activities across multiple groups.• Communicates organization priority updates and milestones to senior management, key business leaders, and peers.• Influences peers and stakeholders through deep understanding of R&D model and functions, product, formula, chemistry, as well as being curious and close to consumers and market trends.Financial and Business acumen:• Prepares local budgets, proposals, progress reports, and portfolio management procedures that articulate precise project initiation, development, and termination criteria.Subject matter expertise in R&D:• Shares knowledge, and supports strategic capabilities.• Creates cross-discipline or department forums to enable the sharing of insights and helps groups interact and explore adjacent fields and opportunities.• Understands the product, formula, processing in depth and is able to make technical judgement calls.Qualifications What we are looking forRequired Qualifications· A minimum of a bachelor's degree in sciences, ideally in Chemistry or Chemical engineering is required.· 7 + years of related experience· Experience working in a consumer products company with an emphasis on product development, with experience in liquids formulations is required.· Excellent technical foundation of formulated products including emulsions, surfactants, suspensions, structured liquids, an understanding of material chemistry and process equipment is required.· Excellent communication skills and possess the ability to influence at senior levels.· Demonstrated leadership in leading and working in a cross-functional team is required.· Ability to build solid relationships in the following areas: Global and Regional R&D Centers, Marketing, Supply.· Fluent written and oral English communication skills are required.· Digital and Data Fluency· End-to-end thinking and integrated problem solving· Adaptability and Learning Agility· Business and financial acumen· Internal and external collaborationWhat's in it for you· Competitive Total Rewards Package*· Learning & Development Opportunities· Employee Resource Groups*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
