We deliver exceptional value every day to our customers with comprehensive services and products including network strategy, distribution center operational design and implementation, material handling automated equipment, robotics and a comprehensive suite of lifecycle services.Responsibility: In addition to the R&D Hc-Loop - Sortation System Engineering Manager, he will interact with the other members of the R&D team, with the technical bodies responsible for the development of orders such as UTM and UTA and with production and assembly managers, Project Managers and Purchasing Department.Engineers and fully develops Hc-Loop production order and related devices from a mechanical perspective, coordinating as needed with other team members and other corporate entities.Will have to model parts and assemblies with design software (3D CAD), as well as draw up their drafting.Prepares and releases mechanical BOMs into production to help build parts and systems,It will have to produce or assist, for each new product, the executive layout and the relative documentation, taking into consideration all the information necessary for installation.He will have to deal directly with the suppliers of components and assembly.Deals with the coding of each mechanical or commercial components, both new and to be incorporated.If necessary, it will have to support, with information and drawings, the installation on site for the aspects relating to the mechanical part for the first release products by R&D.Studies and develops new devices according to job order requestsCollaborate / suggest standardization of existing products.Brings innovation and improvement of existing products.Suggests and develops new internal processes in agreement with the department manager for testing and releasing new products or reviewing existing ones.Pay attention to the costs of new and existing solutions.Collaborates in the drafting of the technical documentation supporting the bodies in charge of both R&D and system.Manages and supervises external resources, when assigned, to achieve project objectives in terms of budget and timescales.Actively collaborates with the assistance department (LPS) in case of problems with the products released by R&D.It intervenes in the field in case of criticality and/or non-conformity of functioning of the mechanical parts, in order to analyze the situation and formulate the appropriate corrective actions.Collaborates / also develops on indication of the R&D Hc-Loop – Sortation system engineering manager with UTM Dept. for all devices related to the FORTNA industrial sector.Main Skills:• Basic knowledge of the main IT tools Office package: Excel, Word, etc.• Use of CAD for technical drawing: AutoCad, SolidWorks, Inventor…• Basic English, preferably B2 or above• Coming from the Material Handling sector, preferably from the Crossbelt - 5 years in the role• Bachelor or degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.Soft Skills (with team):• Good ability to join an existing group.• Ability to work in teams (Italian and foreign), not only from the point of view of operational coordination but also of interaction with others in search of the right compromise in order to achieve the result but also to maintain a good relationship with colleagues• Ability to bring innovation in working methods, while understanding the dynamics existing in a consolidated realitySoft Skill (with manager): • The candidate must demonstrate good integration skills in the team, as well as independence in the integration into company dynamics and its processes.• Must be proactive with respect to existing business processes and projects.• Must be predisposed to change in his own working method (both for the initial phase of insertion in the new company and for any future internal methodology changes).Statement to Third Party Agencies - To ALL recruitment agencies: FORTNA only accepts resumes from agencies on the FORTNA preferred supplier list.
