Summary The R&D Senior Project Manager provides business and technical leadership for major, high-complexity programs within the Renal Business, leading project teams through the identification, justification, prioritization, initiation, development and implementation processes. The R&D Senior Project Manager holds accountability for project schedule, budget, risks, and interacts with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective communications. He/She will interact and influence senior internal and external stakeholders, make launch date commitments to businesses and manage stakeholder expectations about Baxter deliverables during the program. The R&D Senior Project Manager will develop core team and project/program management capabilities across the organization. What you'll be doing: Accountable for core team performance, program schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend. Lead team in defining program strategies, developing goals, and orchestrating team appraisal process. Provide clear direction on product life-cycle management requirements to meet expectations of external customers and business stakeholders. Interact through program updates and review with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders. Ensure identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies. Anticipate potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manage conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes. Maximize business results through continuous improvement in organization's ability to execute programs from identification through implementation.
