Opportunity for a Rising Talent Acquisition Specialist in Portugal Role: Emerging Talent Recruiter
Location: Portugal
Duration: 12-month contract
Our global tech client is seeking a proactive Recruiter to enhance its European Emerging Talent Recruitment team. The focus will be on nurturing new talent in the Southern Europe territory, including Portugal, Italy, and Spain, with the potential to extend support across the Europe, as required.
Join the diverse team, dedicated to recruiting both technical and non-technical roles and paving the way for new professionals into various departments within our organization.
Your Role: As an Emerging Talent Recruiter, it's essential to grasp the intricacies of our business, its objectives, and the organizational culture.
Your responsibilities will include: Crafting and executing the entry-level recruitment strategy for your region, predominantly Portugal. This entails identifying target institutions/groups/universities, managing job postings, coordinating event logistics, ensuring timely volunteer participation and follow-ups with prospects, and overseeing prompt payments and information dissemination to providers.Overseeing the candidate sourcing process, from screening to building a robust and diverse candidate pool for all business units.Guiding candidates through the recruitment journey from initial contact and interviews to the offering stage.Innovating and adopting best practices within Emerging Talent recruitment, while also initiating strategies tailored to local markets.Leading or contributing to projects that bolster the EMEA & Global Emerging Talent recruitment efforts as needed.Establishing significant connections with external (academic institutions, target demographics) and internal (HR, Talent Acquisition partners, Business Unit Managers) stakeholders.Who We Seek: Proven experience in graduate or emerging talent recruitment within Portugal.Background in Recruitment Project Management and steering medium to large-scale hiring initiatives is advantageous.Proficiency in organizing campus events and managing budgets.Direct experience collaborating with Hiring Managers and business leaders to comprehend needs, manage expectations, and navigate challenges is beneficial.An advocate for nurturing talent at the entry-level.Some background in budget management and making financial decisions is preferred.Essential Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, critical for interacting with global business leaders.Competency in creating and delivering presentations to various audience sizes.Creativity, proactiveness, and self-initiation are key qualities for this position.Outstanding organizational, project management, and planning capabilities.Strong influence and persuasion skills to foster solid internal and external relationships.Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable, with additional European languages, particularly Italian or Spanish, being a significant advantage.
