We are expanding our team in the vibrant North East regions and looking for a dynamic Rental Business Developer to be part of our best-in-class Commercial HVAC team. As a Rental Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer development, sales, and customer satisfaction by providing technical and commercial expertise. This is your opportunity to join a global leader in sustainable climate-control solutions and deliver exceptional value through our rental product offerings.Responsibilities:· Customer and order acquisition: Identify and seize potential opportunities with both existing and new customers, by crafting compelling proposals and coordinating various processes to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.· Foster customer growth and loyalty: Actively support and assist customers to encourage long-term relationships, aligning with company strategy in terms of customer channels, product mix, and selling level.· Achieve sales targets: Drive assigned sales and customer development quotas, with a specific focus on rental customer acquisition and development· Collaborative teamwork: Participate actively in team projects and contribute to achieving shared objectives.· Contract management: Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using our standard Trane templates, ensuring clear and mutually beneficial agreements.· Presentation and stakeholder management: Present proposals to customers, follow up with all relevant stakeholders within the purchasing process, and engage in discussions to develop and evaluate possible solutions.· Reporting and compliance: Utilize company-mandated software and programs to prepare reports in line with company rules.· Database management: Maintain an updated customer database to enhance accuracy and facilitate ongoing business development efforts.Required Profile:· Technical education: Pos ses s a Technical High School or University degree in engineering, with a preference for HVAC specialization.· Experience: Ideally, have 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC or Technical Services industry, showcasing proven selling skills and a track record of delivering sales results.· Flexibility and mobility: Ability to travel a minimum of three days a week.· Language proficiency: Fluent Italian (native) and communicative English (minimum B2 level).· Sales-oriented mindset: Display excellent multitasking abilities with a strong focus on customer needs and achieving sales targets.· Exceptional communication: Demonstrate outstanding communication skills to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.· Market knowledge: Familiarity with the local HVAC or Rental market is a plus.· Technical skills: Proficiency in thermodynamics (refrigerant circuit, compressors), HVAC, and electrotechnics fundamentals is a plus.· Software proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and Outlook.What We Offer:· Career growth: Join a global leader in sustainable HVAC solutions and leverage numerous opportunities for professional development.· Training and learning: Engage in Trane Academy's dedicated learning paths, covering both technical and soft skills, alongside a variety of online training courses and live events hosted by industry experts.· Support and wellbeing: Benefit from our Career Navigator program, English language training with EF, and an employee wellbeing program.· Health benefits: Enjoy additional professional and extra-professional insurance coverage and medical coverage.· Meal vouchers: Receive meal vouchers to enhance your work-life balance.Ready to embark on an exciting and rewarding career with Trane Technologies?
