Rome Sales Internship with Context Travel ABOUT CONTEXT Context has redefined the travel industry by bringing authentic experiences to life both online and in-person in over 60 cities around the world. Context Travel – our in-person offering – provides half and full day walking tours (private or small group shared experiences) that dive deep into a city's rich history and culture. Context Digital – our online offerings – provides live and on-demand lectures, audio guides, and virtual tours. Context is a long-standing tour company and B Corp, backed by growth equity since 2017. ROLE: Summer Intern LOCATION: Rome, Italy ELIGIBILITY At Context, we foster and encourage lifelong learning. The internship program is tailored to those enrolled in undergraduate studies but is open to all interested individuals who are looking to learn and grow their skills. ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP Context Travel's newest products are audio guides that tour Vatican visitors through the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The Rome Summer Internship is designed to teach interns sales and guerrilla marketing techniques, and to spread the word about these products on the ground in Rome. Interns will assist this effort by posting flyers, handing out postcards, and promoting the products on the spot to Vatican visitors. Interns will establish relationships with local hotels/hostels, restaurants, universities, etc. where they will provide patrons information and marketing collateral for these audio guides. Other creative marketing ideas and methods will be welcome. Interns will report to Context's Sales and Digital teams. This internship will begin in June 2024 and conclude in August 2024.
