In line with its mission to serve the research community at large, HT operates National Facilities, specifically aimed at making HT's technologies, methods and tools available to the national scientific community.HT's User Access Office is responsible for managing the access of external Users to HT's National Facilities, including through the coordination of theConvenzione 's provisions in terms of identification of national community needs, publication of open calls for access and evaluation of user access requests, by supporting the Standing Independent Evaluation Committee (SIEC).Human Technopole is looking for a motivated, fast learning Scientific Officer - National Facilities Access to support the starting activities of the office, including the set-up of the access procedures and related documentation and the management of the pilot call for access.The successful candidate will actively contribute to managing the access by Italian researchers to HT's National Facilities, including supporting the publication of open calls for access, assisting applicants, providing administrative support for project evaluation and management of approved projects.Your main tasks and responsibilities:Provide support in drafting and reviewing rulesand guidelines for external Users' access to the National Facilities,including open calls for access; Contact and recruit international scientiststo support the Committee in evaluation of the requests for access; Provide administrative support during theevaluation process; Assist applicants through the NationalFacility Open Call help desk; Organize and run review panel meetings for finalizingproject ranking; Maintain the National Facilities webpage up todate with open calls and ongoing projects; Support the Users ofthe National Facilities during remote and physical access; Support NationalFacility Heads and Managers in managing logistical aspects of user access; Support project follow-upduring access; Organise meetings and/or events to promote the offer ofthe National Facilities; Help develop tools andmethods to assess the impact of National Facility activities.Mandatory requirementsUniversity degree in life sciences or otherrelevant field; Experience in the academic and/or lifesciences sector, nationally or internationally; Familiarity with peer-review projectevaluation; Fluency in English.Preferred requirementsPhD degree in life sciences or other relevantfieldPrevious professional experience in sciencemanagement and/or research administration in an international setting; Experience in management of scientificprojects; Experience in accessing/ managing access tocore facilities or European Research Infrastructures; Experience in managing the submission andevaluation of scientific projects;
