Sea Trials Specialist - CETENA Italy - Genova JOB DESCRIPTIONThe resource will work in CETENA , a company of Fincantieri NexTech Group based in Genoa, and will operate within the Sea Trials and Laboratory Business Unit. The Business Unit carries out experimental activities on board of ships, as well as developing projects of experimental research.The main interlocutors will be both the suppliers and customers of the Company and the Fincantieri Group, shipping companies, naval registers, and national and international research institutions. ACTIVITIESThe resource will be involved in the following main activities: Carrying out sea trials and experimental measurements on board the ship;Editing test procedures compliant with national and international regulations and/or customer specificationsTest Report;Take part in national/international research projects in Sea Trials and experimental tests;Support the BU manager for the management, organization and planning of activities related to the experimental tests. REQUIREMENTSEducation Master's Degree in Naval Engineering QualificationsThe Candidate shall have preferably two years of experience in shipyard activities and predisposition/interest in carrying out test activities carried out at sea or on site. The following skills are also appreciated: Knowledge of national and international regulations relating to the naval testing sector;Expertise in analysing the signal and data acquired during measurements and in preparing a measurement report;Knowledge of basic metrology;Good knowledge of English, written and spoken;Ability to work in a team;Attitude for quality work;Ability to respect the delivery times as requested by the customer;Aptitude in managing relationships with customers and colleagues;Aptitude for problem solving;Excellent knowledge of the MS Office application;Availability to travel in Italy and abroad;Availability to carry out experimental activities during navigation;Driving license and availability to travel with company vehicles.
