Description:Our client is looking for a Security Analyst to be responsible for developing and maintaining system security plans, ensuring compliance with DWD policy, standards and regulatory requirements, and conducting thorough security assessments to safeguard our organization's information assets.
Tasks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for the creation and maintenance of SSPs and ensure that security controls are properly documented and implemented to mitigate identified risks.Conduct security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls.Involved with updating IT security policies & procedures.Participate in the audits.Assist team with compliance security & risk assessment.Work with team to remediate findings.Skills Required8-10 years – Knowledge and deep understanding of NIST IT Security standards and controls.8 years – Developing comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance with NIST Special Publication 800-53.8 years - Conducting security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls.8 years – Developing and maintaining IT Security policies and procedures.10 years – MS Office products.8 years – Experience in Technical writing and documentation.8 years – Documenting requirements.10 years – IT Technologies – skills and concepts.8 years – Technical writing.5 years - Understanding of IRS publication 1075, Social Security Administration Technical security.Experience with creating and maintaining IT policies and procedures.Previous experience providing this service for government a plus, and experience with DWD's environments will be especially valuable.CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).#J-18808-Ljbffr
