We are the EMEA Finance team motivated by the idea of supporting our organization in doing the right thing. We are numbers oriented and take pride in making them all correct and reliable. Senior accountant The role is for a Senior Accountant covering Italy and Spain, reporting to the South Europe Finance Manager. The role establishes and maintains the general accounting reporting and practices for the organization. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Manage day-to-day accounting activities in compliance with IFRS GAAP, internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits; Contribute to the preparation of fiscal declarations and all tax deadline in collaboration with external consultants. Prepare the monthly financial close process and related activities, including reviewing the journal entries and account reconciliations within the established timeline. Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls. YOUR PROFILE Master Degree in Economics, Tax or Finance A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping and tax (Accounting or Tax firm preferred) Fluency in English and Italian, written and spoken. Spanish is a plus. At ease with Excel and the whole Microsoft Office 365.
